Blueberries

Ezra and I met a friend and her two girls down at the farmer's market this morning. We came home with a whole flat of blueberries. Any ideas of what to do with all of them? We love to just snack on them, but with the whole flat, we need to figure out something else to do with them. I will for sure make blueberry pancakes, freeze some.......and who knows what else.
Anyway, what do you suggest? Blueberry jam?Blueberry muffins?
I would appreciate your ideas!

Oh, YUM... I say a blueberry crisp... Or maybe blueberry fried pies! Sorry that these are so health conscious! ;) Let us know what you come up with!

yes, that looks about like what we have right now! I went to pick yesterday, and we picked our third 10lb. bucket!!! seriously....ask me what to do with extra blueberries? Well, we ate many of them, and I made pancakes with blueberries, and jam...but my last batch I froze almost all of them. I know that will make me happiest later on.

blueberries are my favourite, they are so sweet right now!!

Blueberry cobbler is the best, and if you want to save it for winter, freezes well uncooked. If you need a recipe let me know.
I wish we could get fresh berries here, but I'll have to content myself with fresh pomegranates, mango, and lychee.

blueberry crisp is yummy... i also love them in a fruit salad with peaches, strawberries (or whatever fruits you have). put them on your cereal or on hot oatmeal... blueberry bread is also good...and you can freeze it.

freeze your leftovers and pull them out during the winter for a yummy treat. mmm i love fresh fruit!

congrats on baby Grace!!
