Mama's Photo Shoot

I got a new camera for Christmas and I am having fun taking photos of my favorite subjects...my children! I also have a lot to learn about my camera and photography, so you'll hopefully get to see me improve. 

Beautiful Brown Eyes

Grace is already 3 weeks old!! Wow, these past weeks have flown by! Grace is doing great. She is starting to have a predictable sleep schedule now, so that is nice. She sleeps for 4 hours at a time during the night, so I can't complain about that. She seems to be a really laid back baby. She doesn't hardly cry or fuss. She is focusing on our faces now when she is awake. We love these moments and are so thankful for our little girl.

Swinging Sweetie

Grace likes her swing, but I think Ezra enjoys pushing the buttons on it more! There are six speeds and the rule is that he can't have his sister swinging faster than speed two. The first time she was in the swing Ezra went for the six ( the fastest speed) and Grace was a little terrified!

Sibling Love

Ezra LOVES his little sister! He wants to check on her first thing when he wakes up in the morning. He loves holding her, talking to her, and showing her his toys. When we first brought Grace home, he asked to show Grace the house. So I carried her around the house while Ezra told her what each room was and different things about the room. It was precious. I am so thankful that Ezra has had an easy time adjusting to his little sister. He is a great big brother!

Grace- 2 Weeks

It has already been two weeks since Grace was born! She now weighs 7 lb 13 oz. She had her two week appt yesterday and she is doing great. She is more awake each day and we are enjoying getting to know our little sweetheart.

Aunt Bethany Came to Town!

Ross' sister, Bethany, came from Oregon to meet Grace yesterday! We had a nice time visiting. She brought great gifts for the whole family too! Thanks Uncle Brad and Aunt Bethany! We look forward to seeing you & the boys in Oregon in a few weeks!

Check out Grace's hat! Bethany knitted it and it looks like an eggplant top! So cute! Ezra calls Grace "Eggplant Grace" when she wears it.

Thank-you God for my healthy and beautiful children. I know they are gifts from You. I pray for guidance and wisdom in raising them up to serve You.

Ross' Birthday

My sweet husband celebrated his 27th birthday on the 29th. We did a good job celebrating considering we just got home from the hospital with a new baby 3 days earlier. We started the celebration with Ross opening his birthday gifts. (He got a Portland Trailblazers hat and a Michael Medved book from me and the kids.) We went out to dinner w/ my mom to Ross' favorite Mexican restaurant in town. We then hit Cutters and got Ross his favorite drink, (mocha frappe w/ 2 extra shots). We then headed home and lit the candle on a chocolaty dessert and sang happy birthday. After Ezra was in bed, my mom stayed home w/ Ezra and Grace while Ross and I took a hot date to fill up the van w/ gas and go to blockbuster. =)
