Dollar Store vs. Name Brand

I am talking about pregnancy tests. Do the dollar store ones work? Or should we spend the 5+ bucks per test to get the name brand test? Well a friend of mine and I were talking about this. I have always been sceptical about buying dollar store pregnancy test. I decided to try and put this to the test!
I was a little embarrassed buying a pregnancy test in a dollar store.....but I did it...I stood in line with my two tests and paid my two dollars. (Would have been ten at Walmart!)

Anyway, I already knew I was pregnant, so if they came up negative, they didn't work, but if they were positive, they must work..right?

Here is the answer: They work! Next child I will be buying all my tests at the dollar store! Sorry First Response!

    Yeah, thanks for the info, those things are really expensive at regular stores! I hope I will never need another one again...let me tell ya, life is running really smoothly right now!

    b- if this baby isn't a girl, then one of us better be having more kids! If we have a boy, we'll probably have more....up to 4. This is what I think. But Ross still needs to come around to the idea!

    Ha... I think I remember someone buying me a preg. test at the Dollar Store. ;)

    TOTALLY they work. They are manufactured by the same as the name brand, I believe.

    Good work.

    Even though I already knew you were pregnant, it was SO exciting to see it say POSITIVE.
