Our Cali Home

Here are pictures of the downstairs of our home before the move in.

Collection on the Memory Card

We have internet at the house!!! Yay! We are just about unpacked and settled. We have a few random boxes with stuff that I tucked away in the closet for when I am feeling motivation to tackle them. Otherwise we are settled. We are still trying to find a church, so we can start making friends. Since the last blog we have got our house rented out! Praise Jesus! Thanks for your prayers. God has totally blessed us and His plans are far better than my own.

Growing Grace

We are still here...and still living in a hotel. We move into our house on Tuesday! We still don't have our other home rented out, so please please I beg you pray that it gets rented before we have to lower the price anymore. This has for sure been a challenging time as we are unable to really get settled until we move into our house. We are still trying to find a church to call home too. So your prayers are much appreciated.
Okay, on a happier note here are some pictures of my lovely little girl in her Valentine's Day dress that she wore to church this morning.

Update on the Move

It has been two weeks since we said goodbye to our dear friends up north and headed to "SoCal". We have stayed at a hotel and eaten out for two weeks straight. I never thought I could get sick of eating out.
We are loving the weather here and all of the parks. Julius is especially happy that he gets to go on lots of walks and play at dog parks.
Ross starts work tomorrow. He is ready to. I am a bit bummed about it since we are still at a hotel and it will be a long day for me and the kids as we try to keep ourselves entertained.
We have found a home though! The Lord blessed us with this. There isn't a commute at all for Ross and it is in a great neighborhood. We were so blessed to get such a great deal on it too! We are not able to move in until about the 15th, so I will post pictures of the inside when we get the keys. For now the drive by shot will have to do.
We have tried out a couple churches and think we might have found one. I will be going to the women's biblestudy tomorrow morning to check that out. We don't like being the new people at church, but we don't have much a choice in that right now.
Please be praying that our house up north gets rented soon! I have to keep reminding myself that the Lord is in control of it.

Ezra in California

Ezra has been quite the trooper. He seems to understand quite a bit about us moving. He is anxious to find friends and get settled I think. He keeps telling strangers that we live in a hotel! He is very confident little boy and doesn't know a stranger.
He has mentioned twice now that he is sad because he doesn't have any friends here. I keep telling him that he will soon when we find a church. We keep telling him that God will bring us good friends.

Grace- 5 & 6 weeks old

Grace has been a great traveler. It helps that she still sleeps most of the time though. She is smiling a lot now and making the sweetest cooing sounds. She loves Ezra. When he comes around and talks to her she smiles and tries to find him. She is such a sweetheart.

I think Grace looks a lot like my mom in the next two pictures.

Grace loves her binky!

Her big smile! She eats, poops, and then gives us a huge smile!

Welcome to California!

I am finally posting some pictures! I forgot to pack an extra battery for my camera, so I haven't been taking too many pictures. I will post the ones I have though. One evening we went down to the beach for a nice walk as the sun was setting. This beach is about 15 minutes from our house.

Stopping In to Say, "Hi!"

I stole these pictures from my sister in laws blog. We are living at a hotel right now, and have been very busy looking for a place to live and exploring our new home, so I haven't been taking very many pictures.
I will blog more again when we get settled. Just so you all know though, we are having so much fun here. We went to the San Diego Zoo today. We are anxious to get out of the hotel and into a home and a routine! The weather is of course gorgeous here and we love being able to play outside!
I'll be back soon!
